William “Bill” Theodore Tracy, age 90, of Brookline Station, MO, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011, at St. John’s Medical Center. He was a member of the Battlefield United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. United States Army Air Corps during WWII.
He is preceded in death by his parents Gilbert L. and
Helen P. (Pelke)Tracy; and one brother Charles Tracy.
He is survived by his wife Beverly Tracy of the home; his daughter Helen Scroggins and her husband Donald of Springfield, MO; two brothers: Robert Tracy of Stuart, FL, and Donald Tracy of NV; as well as other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM, Thursday, May 19, 2011, at Greenlawn Funeral Home South, Springfield, MO with Pastor Frederick Zahn officiating. Burial will follow in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO, with full military honors.
