William “Billy” Hackler went to be with his Savior on July 15, 2013 at 12:30 pm at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. Billy was born October 23, 1961 in Springfield. He accepted Christ into his heart at the age of 10. Billy graduated from Logan Rogersville High School in Rogersville, Mo in 1980 and then attended Southwest Missouri State University.
Billy worked in sales for many years and was employed at Infiniti of Springfield. The light of his life were his two children Lindsey Mae Hackler Lipe and Cody William Hackler and his grandchildren Coleton and Austyn Lipe.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Gerry and Mecky Mason, Sanford Wayland, Mr. and Mrs. L.G. Hackler, and his son Cody.
He is survived by his daughter Lindsey and her husband Steven Lipe, his parents Dr. Richard and Shirley Hackler, his brother Greg Hackler, and his sisters Lisa Hackler Dunton and her husband Bill and Leslie Hackler Whitehead and her husband Zach. He is also survived by two nieces, Hannah Hackler and Allie Dunton; three nephews, Jordan Hackler, Drew Dunton, and Mason Whitehead; two cousins, Rachel Broyles Plotner and Reuel Broyles; and two aunts, Donna Broyles and LuAnn Blankenship.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 19, 2013 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East 3540 East Seminole Springfield, Missouri with Rev. Jim White and Pastor Eddie Lyons officiating. Burial will be in Rivermonte Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, July 18, 2013 in the funeral home
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Developmental Center of the Ozarks, 1545 E. Pythian St.#B, Springfield, Missouri 65802, where his son Cody attended.
Billy had a winning smile and eye lashes that made girls envious. He was a superior salesman and loved his family dearly. He will be greatly missed.
