Wilma Joyce Coker, age 84, born September 10, 1941 in Byron, Arkansas to Hollis and Della Floyd. Wilma was the youngest of 5 kids; Betty, Lyndell, Chuck and JD. She graduated from East High School in 1958 at the age of 16. She married Ed Coker May 29, 1958 in Kansas City where they resided. Wilma and Ed had three children; Tom, Becky and Pamm.
They moved to Harrisonville in 1966, where Wilma worked as a secretary with Harrisonville Schools. She retired around 2002 and moved full-time to Fair Play. She joined Fair Play First Baptist Church and was a faithful member. Wilma enjoyed weekends when all her kids and grandkids gathered at the lake.
Wilma was known as the “card lady” – she remembered every birthday, anniversary and special day. She loved sending and receiving cards. She enjoyed traveling; cruises, Hawaii, and numerous states with various family and friends.
She was very loved and admired by her kids, grandkids and great grandkids.
In lieu of flowers, Wilma had ask for donations be made to First Baptist Church in Fair Play, MO
