Wilma Lea Eaton 84, Springfield died Sunday in Brookhaven Healthcare after a long illness. A life-long area resident she was born in Springfield on January 30, 1928. She was preceded in death by her parents: George and Myrtle Blevins and by a sister: Mabel George.
Wilma is survived by her husband Louis, of the home, a daughter: Linda Hendricks and her husband Jay, a grand-daughter: Jayla Penick and her husband: David, a great-grandson: Joseph, a sister; Ella Mae Findlay, and two brothers: Bill and Bob Blevins all of Springfield. She will be remembered as a Christian wife, mother, grandmother and Great-Grandmother.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
