Wilma Lea Tirey, age 88 of Bolivar, MO, passed away December 4, 2012, at the Northwood Hills Care Center Humansville, MO. Wilma was born to Lilly (Bell) and Henry Stephenson Manning August 3, 1924, in Fair Play, MO. Wilma married Ray I. Tirey August 10, 1945.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ray; a daughter Nancy Diane; three sisters: Lois, Fern, and Shirley; and five brothers: Lloyd, Orville “Tex”, Luther, Fred, and Virgil.
She is survived by six children: Rocky Tirey, Rae Disney (Ted), Linda Tews, Roy Tirey (Karen), Sharon Renwick (Sid), Jo Ellen Mastro; 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Pitts Chapel. Burial will follow at Barren Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, December 7, 2012, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the funeral home.
