Wilma May Williamson, 97, of Springfield, went to be with her heavenly Father on July 19, 2016 at 10:30 AM. She lived alone until age 94, then lived at Glendale Gardens in Springfield, Missouri for the last three years. She lived 97 years and 10 months. She was born September 12, 1918 in Charity, Missouri to Clyde and Gladys Routh.
Wilma joins her parents and four sisters, Lois Krasser, Margie Underhill, Lucille Bilyeu and Maxine Highfill in her heavenly home. She is survived by one sister, Betty Creasy of Marshfield; one son, Harold Williamson and his wife, Sharon, of Springfield; one daughter, Asenath Brock and her husband, Ken, of Hollister; and seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
Wilma was a faithful member of Glendale Baptist Church. She was a cook for Whitlock and Pleasant View Schools and had a restaurant north of Springfield. She loved to cook and her specialty was hot rolls.
Visitation will be on Saturday, July 23, from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM, with a funeral service immediately following at 10:00 AM, at Greenlawn Funeral Home East. Burial will follow at Mt. Comfort Cemetery
