Yolanda (Yo) Hudson (Lesher), entered into eternal rest September 25, 2026.

The first-born daughter of Charles and Andree’ Lesher. She was born in Cliché France, a suburb of Paris on May 26, 1946, about a year after the end of WWII. Her father served in the army in Paris during that war. They came to the United States in 1947. They moved to Springfield, Missouri in 1950. She lived in Springfield the rest of her life except the four years she lived in the St. Louis area.

She graduated from Central High School in 1964, then attended business college.

In 1965 she and Larry Lewis were united in marriage. To this union one daughter was born, Tanya Renee’.  She and Larry divorced 7 years later but remained friends through the years.

In May of 1972 she married Roger Hudson, where they shared 33 years together until his passing in 2005.

She worked in the furniture business for many years, including at Muhollans, Haverty’s and the Penny’s Home Store. She retired in 2009.

She enjoyed cooking and entertaining for family and friends. She loved decorating and making her home and yard beautiful. She always wanted to make family events and holidays special for everyone, getting beautiful tables and serving good food.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Andree’ Lesher and her husband Roger.

She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.

She is survived by Daughter Tanya Hill (Larry McForlin), Sister Edie Carroll (Jerry), 1 step Granddaughter, 5 Great Granddaughters, Nephew Justin Knaur and Great-Nephew Aven Knauer.
