Yvonne Elaine Burch, age 66, of Aurora, MO, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016 in her home. She was born May 29, 1949, in Pittsburg, CA, to Daryle and Dorothy (Unterkircher) Etter. She graduated from Cabool High School and Missouri State University. Yvonne was united in marriage to Leland Burch May 29, 1971 in Cabool, MO. She began her teaching career in Exeter Missouri, where she taught for thee years, she then taught for twenty- three years at Clever, Missouri. Yvonne was a member of Aurora Baptist Temple. She enjoyed gardening, watching birds and trivia. She and her husband loved to travel, their favorite place to go was Gulf Shores, Alabama. Yvonne’s greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Daryle Etter. She is survived by her loving husband Rev. Leland Burch, Aurora, MO; two sons, Andrew Burch and wife Raschell, Gilbert, AZ and Rev. Nathan Burch and wife Leannah, Aurora, MO; three grandchildren, Alexis, Alyssa, and Javan; one sister, Yolanda Dixon, Springfield; mother, Dorothy Etter, Cabool; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, April 23, 2016, at Aurora Baptist Temple, Aurora, MO. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Aurora Baptist Temple. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Aurora Baptist Temple Youth Group. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO.
